Longterm Elmhurst client seeks nanny manager, to start as soon as possible.

  • Two children elementary school age.
  • Hours are Monday through Thursday 11:00AM to 6:30PM 
  • Highly competitive salary ($23 to $27 /hour) plus benefits including paid vacation, holidays, sick days.
  • Nanny must drive, and have a clean driving record. Family will supply a car. 
  • Nanny should be energetic,  loving, dependable, sensitive and fun but able to discipline effectively and supervise / help with homework and projects.
  • Nanny is responsible for occasionally getting children ready for school in the morning, and picking them up after school; helping with homework; preparing meals; and transportation to and from activities.
  • Other house hold management responsibilities include light cleaning; scheduling and supervising household appointments, doing family laundry; maintaining;  purchasing and restocking of household grocery staples; grocery shopping; and errands.
  • One parent works from home on occasion and nanny should be comfortable with this arrangement.
  • Family has a new non shedding dog

North Shore Family Seeks Top Nanny House Manager - Kenilworth, IL 60043

  • Busy family with older children on North Shore seeks full time nanny / house manager, to start immediately. 
  • Two school ages children. Children are very involved in activities. Including but not limited to: swimming, fall, water polo, gymnastics, swim club, girl scouts, field hockey, choir, soccer,  running. 
  • Mother travels very extensively internationally for work and caregiver must be able to roll up sleeves and take charge without overstepping. 
  • 50 hours per week.; applicant must be flexible and will occasionally need to be available in evenings or when parents travel (2-3 times per month). 
  • Generous salary and benefits, including vacation, and holidays. 
  • Applicant must drive and have a clean driving record; family supplies a vehicle for use while on the job. 
  • Caregiver must be extremely flexible and willing to do whatever is necessary to help family. Family is extremely busy. Must be comfortable in a hectic, fast paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Ideal caregiver should be comfortable developing a mentoring relationship with older children; experience dealing with older children is extremely helpful. 
  • Applicant should make sure children get to school and activities on time; facilitate homework; prepare occasional meals; and be able/willing to stay overnight on occasion. 
  • Caregiver will also serve as a house manager, scheduling repairs; doing light housework, including laundry, grocery shopping and running errands. 
  • Family has one small dog. Applicant will need to be comfortable with dogs, and let dog out. 
  • Caregiver will also take dog to vet and groomers, as needed. 
  • Applicant must be comfortable working with other members of a domestic staff including a chef and housekeeper. 
  • Parents may work from home on occasion. Home is accessible by train; parking is readily available.

Wonderful Chicago family seeks fantastic after school nanny for their elementary school age child.
  • Monday through Friday, 2:30p.m.-8 p.m. Possibility of additional hours desired, but not required.
  • Position might require a little flexibility.
  • Competitive salary plus benefits, including paid holidays and vacation.
  • Nanny must drive and have a clean driving record; family supplies a vehicle for use on the job.
  • Position involves picking child up from school; taking child to play dates or after school activities; bringing home; helping with homework; preparing dinner; and keeping home picked up.
  • Other responsibilities include loading and unloading dishwasher; keeping kitchen clean; and common areas picked up. Family is open to nanny assuming additional responsibilities, if desired.
  • Nanny should have prior experience dealing with elementary age children; a background in early childhood education is desirable, but not required.
  • Nanny should be caring; organized; punctual; reliable; physically active; positive; and honest.
  • A knowledge of Italian is desired, but not required; family speaks Italian as a second language.
  • Home is located in a lovely area, close to DePaul University and Lincoln Park. Street parking is readily available.
  • Start date ASAP. 
  • Ideal applicant has significant industry experience, and excellent references.

Professional executive family in Oak Park seeks full time assistant and house manger start date is ASAP.
  • Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week; family is somewhat flexible with the schedule for the right person. May need to spend the night on occasion.
  • Three children, from elementary school to high school.
  • Mother is in the home, but is ill; nanny will need to be understanding and ascertain when to step in when the mother is unwell, or when to step up and assist.
  • Highly competitive salary and benefits. Compensation is very generous and will be determined by applicants experience, compensation history and ability to be flexible in how the job is defined and hours. 
  • Nanny must drive and have a clean driving record; family supplies a car for use on the job.  
  • Caregiver should be friendly, caring, responsible, reliable, open and honest, orderly, flexible and able to keep track of three different scheduled.
  • Caregiver should have experience managing a busy household, planning and preparing of meals, providing light housekeeping, shopping, errands, and laundry.
  • Responsibilities include taking children to and from school and activities; picking up groceries; meal preparation; light housekeeping; helping to help organize the household, including children’s rooms, their schedules and activities; and keeping children active.
  • Family has two dogs and three cats; very little pet care is involved, but person must be comfortable with animals and like animals.
  • Parking is available in driveway and on street; close to public transportation.
  • Close to local shopping and restaurants; parks; library; swimming pool; movie theater.

Busy family in Barrington seeks energetic nanny  manager for their six children, to begin as soon as possible.
  • Children range in age from 16 months - 12 year old. With the exception of the two youngest, all children are in school full days
  • Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 p.m. (compensation is based on a 45 hour work week). Occasional weekends may be requested.
  • Excellent salary and compensation, including possible health insurance, paid holidays and paid vacation.
  • 55K to 58K per year pluss full benefits 
  • Nanny should drive and have a good driving record. Family provides a vehicle for use on the job.
  • Nanny should be experienced, and used to dealing with large families. She should be able to handle noise and the demands of a busy household.
  • Nanny should be organized; compassionate; good hearted; responsible; a multi tasker; someone who can step in and help out without a lot of direction.
  • Nanny will have all responsibilities for childcare, as well as household responsibilities, such as laundry; light cleaning of the home; and light meal preparation.
  • Mother does stay at home with children, but due to the number of children, a lot of transportation is involved dropping off and picking up from school and activities.
  • Nanny should be able to anticipate the needs of the children, whether it is materials for a school project, keeping them busy with activities, meals and snacks, etc.Ideal applicant is flexible, warm, creative, engaging, looking for a long-term position.
